Editing Inquisitorial Pyroclast

Inquisitorial Pyroclasts are the [[Inquisition]]s pet pyromaniacs that are often used mainly by the [[Ordo Malleus]] and [[Ordo Xenos]] branch of the Inquisition.

==Overview==
The original Pyroclasts were created by Inquisitor Malachai Heritor of the Ordo Xenos in 643.M40, as the last measure to end xeno infestations through holy fire when everything else had failed. Their success led to the Ordo Malleus copycatting the entire idea and also incorporating them in their retinue.

The first recorded use of the Pyroclasts was the Cleansing of Dreah. After discovering that the grain tithe of the [[Agri-World]] had been tainted by Chaos, Inquisitor Helden Karros equipped three [[Imperial Guard]] Regiments with [[Flamer#Flamer|flamers]] and ordered them to cleanse all vegetation within a thousand-kilometre radius of the original infection site.

Afterwards, the Calixian Ordo Malleus created a training bastion on the Shrine World of Reshia for inquisitorial agents to specialize in the use of [[Incinerator]]s. Yes, you may be wondering how ''mere'' mortals are allowed to carry [[Grey Knights]] weapons when they should be de jure sanctioned against all non-Grey Knight forces. But the Inquisition have plenty of legal loopholes around that. In a ''rare case'' of the Inquisition having common sense rather than being a bunch of [[Fail|paranoid team-killing fucktards]], most of the trainees are experienced former guardsmen that ''somehow'' avoided getting mindwiped or [[Blam|mindblown]] by an Inquisitor. These guys all possess an absolutely [[/d/|unhealthy fetish for fire]] that would have made them excellent candidates for the [[Salamanders]] or the [[Sisters of Battle]]. They are also cultivated into a religious love and faith during a six months training period before being returned to their inquisitors as fully-fledged Pyroclasts.

Another similar training facility is located on Idumea.

Pyroclasts all wear [[Carapace Armour]] for protection; largely to protect them from their own weapons rather than enemy fire.
