'''Giant in the Playground''' is a website and forum run by [[chaos Gods|insane douchebags]] who like to hallucinate nonexistent rules violations into people's posts while selectively ignoring [[chaos|actual trolling]]. It is best avoided at all costs by anyone who wants to engage in serious discussion about anything. In one of their more stunning acts of [[heresy|stupidity]], a user was issued an infraction for saying that the planets of the solar system were named after Greco-Roman deities, as examples of ''proper nouns'' in a discussion about ''grammar'', because this was allegedly a violation of the rule against discussing real-world politics and religion. But another user straight-up said "[[capitalism]] is evil" and that was just fine.  

As usual, the only place for fair and honest discussion of tabletop gaming is the [[/tg/]] board on 4chan.

The <s>best</s> only reason to go there might be to read the <s>awesome</s> web <s>comic</s> [[wat|wall-of-text-with-an-occassional-stick-figure]] of varying quality, [[Order of the Stick]], which it hosts.  It also used to host the first chapter of another <s>awesome</s> comic called Erfworld, although it has now been taken down now and is only found on its own website. It is also has a large section dedicated to homebrew, with homebrews that range from "holy crap this is awesome!" to "holy crap were they high when they designed this!?". Do you want to play as what is essentially a fusion of the Incredible Hulk and a Solar exalted? How about a high-powered artificer with rules for bringing about Industrial Revolution and building mecha?
