Dnd-stub Eldritch Theurge is a Prestige Class from Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition, appearing in the Complete Mage splatbook on pgs. 57-60. ==Fluff== Eldritch Theurges, like their Mystic Theurge counterparts, have devoted themselves to complete mastery of two separate forms of magical lore; the proven potency of arcane magic, and the eldritch invocations of the warlock - their divine magic-wielding counterparts are known as Eldritch Disciples. The vast majority are multiclassing warlock/wizards, though any of the arcane caster classes are possible - still, the need for a good amount of knowledge of raw arcana and planar lore to qualify makes non-wizard eldritch theurges a true minority, and the most likely non-wizards to pursue this route are sorcerers. They are considered rare and little trusted even by pure warlocks, and often regarded as power-hungry. ==Crunch== Qualifying for this prestige class requires an Eldritch Blast that does 2d6 damage, access to 2nd level Invocations, the ability to cast 2nd lkevel or higher arcane spells, and 8 ranks in both Knowledg (Arcana) and Knowledge (The Planes). The core of the Eldritch Theurge is that each of its 10 levels grants increased spells per day, spells known, spell caster level, invocations known, and invoker level as if the theurge had simultaneously gained a level in wizard (or whatever) and warlock at the same time. It also gains Damage Reduction and Fiendish Resilience like a regular warlock. At 3rd level, it gains the unique Invocation "Spellblast", which lets the theurge "carry" an AOE spell on their eldritch blast. At 5th level, they gain the knowledge of Eldritch Spellweave, a supernatural ability that lets them apply their eldritch essence invocations to their spells. At 10th level, they gain the unique Invocation "Greatreach Blast", which lets them "carry" a Touch spell on their eldritch blast. ==Editorial==
