Out of smokes. Out of scotch. Out of Jumpstarts. Holy hell I hate this place. Between the excruciating banality of the incompetent desk jockey to the deep corruption in our police force, this city stinks like a dead animal that's been whored out to a clan of psychopaths. Just today, another grisly death happened. 

Naturally, New York's Fattest are ruling it a suicide because they can't be arsed to do anything else. It's like a mediocre school play where everyone is phoning it in and nobody has a good copy of the script. But I know the truth is deeper. Beneath the grime and the bullshit and the red tape, there's something else pulling these particular strings.

Somebody out there knows. Somebody down there. The truth is out there, right there.

Whoever it is, I'm coming for you. Sleep tight.
