===Neverborn=== Some of the Primordials were slain before they could surrender, struck down by Ghost-Eating Technique and other such spirit-destroying powers. Since Primordials can't even conceive of death, let alone think to program the reality they built to handle it, reality promptly shat a brick and jammed. They ended up in a torturous half-dream, half-nightmare, their bodies warped into eldritch cathedrals of obsidian and soulsteel, doomed to feel the sensations of gangrenous rot eating away at their body for the rest of eternity... ...At least, until the Black Nadir Concordant had the "bright" idea of waking five of them up to learn Necromancy from them. Now they're aware, constantly whispering to people about how they should really consider the merits of killing everything everywhere forever. Also, their name is also another name for their still-living kin (there is nothing extra, they just took a synonym and ran with it). On the one hand, they've effectively been trapped at the very moment of death and can feel their bodies rotting forever - killing everything is the best way they can think of to simultaneously free themselves from their torment via Oblivion and give one last middle finger to the people that killed them. On the other hand, they might (canon's ambiguous on the subject) just be able to let go of their primordial forms and go off into the Wyld again, but they're forever stuck in a self-pitying downward spiral, too obsessed with their own depression and misery to actually improve their situations short of dragging everyone else down with them. Abhorrence of Life Patron of the Dowager. Father of Murder He Who Holds In Thrall: While none of the Neverborn are really unique characters, this one was likely Mardukth. Patron of The First and Forsaken Lion and the Princess Magnificent. Responsible for fusing FaFL into his armour and temporarily exiling him after he fucked up the Contagion, and for turning Princess Magnificent into FaFL's servant after she fucked up against the gods. Perfected Principle of Consumption: Patron of the Bodhisattva Anointed by Dark Waters. Tears of Want Whose Whispers Chain: Worshiped by the Pelagials, a species of manatee-people living in ruined underwater cities in the oceans of the West. Speaks through the mummified corpses of their princes. Could be either Ta'akozoka (based on the water and death themes they share) or Jheel-Khan (based on the inverted theme naming of the Neverborn, changing laughter to whispers and the freedom of the sky to chains). Queen of Suicides Speaker of the Final Silence Seven Forbidden Wisdoms The Dragon That Was: What the fuck did you do?! If this guy shows up in your campaign it means you (somehow?) killed the Ebon Dragon. There's not much fluff on what this means, except that it's all-but guaranteed to be bad (except in one or two cases, like plugging the Mouth of Oblivion itself or as a last-ditch attempt at stopping the Reclamation - though it's equally possible it'll just make things even worse). The Engine of Extinction: Similarly, this is the result of what happens if you killed Autochthon, or let him die or whatever. Congratulations on turning one of the few benevolent cosmic entities in the game into the Rape-o-matic 9000.
