'''Backstory''': Brent Hartman lead a slightly above normal high school life. He was Quarterback of the football team, he ran the AV club in his spare time, and most important of all he was a straight A student.

Until Z day.

Working in the school chem lab with no supervision, Brent succumbed to his seizure with mild acids in hand. The resulting burns have forever scarred his upper body, leaving it in a horribly deformed state. He would have died, had his body not naturally absorbed the acid before it could do too much damage.

Crawling around, momentarily blinded, another student found the poor boy bunched over, in pain... On the ceiling!

Brent, with training, eventually learned to control his absorption powers, getting so skilled with it he could immediately absorb most thrown items, and even eject matter if done in a time proportionate to it's weight (the bigger the item, the less time he has). Objects moving too quickly still seem to be a problem.

He now spends his time as a masked street hero, stopping other Lesser Supers committing petty crimes as best as he can.
