==Order of Battle==

Due to the demands of First Legion operations elsewhere in the Pathorum Sector, Hektor's own command was very small.  Only a few of the ships that had fought at the [[First Battle of Kopt Dara]] accompanied the Primarch in the second clash.  The great bulk of the Imperial Fleet was a composite squadron dispatched from Mars by the Fabricator-General.  At this stage, each Forge Temple retained considerable independence - including their own warships.  Aside from the complications of coalition warfare that this imposed upon Zorr Yenser, this situation creates confusion for the adept of history.  Ship names such as ''Nostra Machinae'' (Our Machine) or ''Mars Aeterna'' (Mars Eternal) were extremely popular in this period, and it seems that every Forge of any standing christened ships by such names.  In the case of the ''Machinae Vult'' of Mondus Occulum and her namesake of Olympus Mons, the matter is further confused by the ships being deployed next to one another in Yenser's line.

The leading contingents of the Mechanicum squadron were certainly dispatched from the Fabricator General's own hold, Olympus Mons, and his nearby ally Mondus Occulum.  The ships of Deimos and Urbis Tyrrhena, lighter and more wieldy than the massive battleships of the rest of the squadron, were given a particularly important role protecting the rear and flanks.  Yenser's own Forge, Urbis Juventas, surely was incapable of building its own voidships at this point, and must have been granted ships seized from rebels or taken from the arsenal of Olympus Mons.

Some of the vessels in the combined fleet were identified as survivors from the "Southern Fleet" that fought at the First Battle of Kopt Dara, and the First Legion used the old identification codes to designate them.  The balance of the Osroene force was identified as part of a "Reserve Fleet" and designated with an RF-prefix.
