*Scavenger Lands - Rebuffed in their conquest of creation by the two Deathlord's bid for rulership of the scavengerlands, a circle of Green Sun Princes plots to turn their enemies against each other.  Using investigation charms that seek information lost to fate, they reveal to Walker in Darkness how he died.  After confirming sending a circle of his deathknights to the invisible fortress to confirm it he declares war on the Mask of Winters.  After a military campaign lasting several years, the two meet in a final confrontation, and bring each other to the brink of destruction.  The Mask of Winters, unwilling to acquiesce to the void survives by merging with Walker in Darkness.  A new Deathlord calling himself The Mask that Skulks in Winter emerges from the unholy union.

*Blessed Isle - In a bid to end the struggles for control and crown herself empress the way her mother did before her Mnenom descends to the depths of the imperial manse.  Succeeding in gaining control of the Sword of Creation, she uses it to scour the infernal invaders from the shores of the Blessed Isle.  When she tries to turn it on their lands in Harborhead, however, she realizes her mistake.  Using her knowledge of the Sword of Creation from her previous experience The Scarlet Empress and her husband succeed in causing the device to backfire, destroying the entire network in a massive display of pyrotechnics.

This massive destruction of major veins of demesnes that form the backbone of the elemental pole of earth, along with the Alchemical conversions of many underground manses causes the pole to invert.  The Blessed Isle itself rips itself from the womb of Creation and hovers high above.
