And now for something completely different. A [[Spheres of Power|Champions of the Spheres]] class.

The Spheres Warden is a standalone Champion class that came ''after'' the initial book; and is a new take on tanking. It's a Mid Caster with 3/4 BAB and full Blended Training, but the kicker is that despite it's middling BAB, it's given an extra step of hit dice; similar to a [[Barbarian]], bringing it to d10. The similarities end there, however, as they're entirely supernatural protectors. Firstly, they gain Guardian and a Vigil (gaining another Sphere in the process), and gain bonus attacks of opportunity which stack with feat methods (like Combat Reflexes or Muscular Reflexes). They also get the Guard ability; giving a bonus to AC to a friendly target, which only has a range to ''apply'' it; the target can go anywhere afterward. They also gain Reinforcements that grant new abilities to their Guards. A Warden very much is built around their Vigils; which grant bonus abilities alongside their bonus Spheres.
