===Aftermath===
The Yang Fleet surrenders Iserlohn to the Empire, but the nearby system of El Facil(where Yang first earned his fame) is granted autonomy.  Reinhard's son, Alexander Siegfried von Lohengramm, will become the new emperor. Through Julian's negotiations with Reinhard, he suggests the adoption of constitutionalism within the empire, to which he leaves the choice for his wife to make after his death; possibly leading to the transformation of the autocratic empire into a constitutional monarchy in the future. Conversely, he also left the fate of his new dynasty to her; if she felt there was no redeeming features or if it’s has corrupt incompetence, she was free to let it collapse so the universe can find a new order for human civilization to form. Reinhard also suggested Mittermeyer’s adopted son (Ruenthel’s biological son) be raised as a companion with his own; enabling both to share a bond similar to his bond as a friend with Kircheis or a rival with Yang.  Speaking of Mittermeyer, as the last man standing of Reinhard's original confidants, he'll probably be Hilda's Prime Minister; the first honest man to govern humanity in centuries.  With the death of the two main cast members and a glimpse of a hopeful future, many [[Fist of the North Star|manly tears]] are shed to the fallen.
