'''Physical Description''': Rick stands at about average height, a little thin, but toned from daily exercise. Blond hair is straight and fastened into a shoulder length ponytail and a short beard sit on his chin. He used to not care much about the way he looked, but ever since he became a super he has been very keen on looking sharp. Spending a little of his savings, he bought a nice grey suit and Stetson that he wears around, especially when playing a show.

'''Backstory''': Rick was not a very vocal person. Though brimming with ideals, he never made anything of more than a passionate argument of his beliefs, convinced that none would hear him. Most of the time it seemed better to go along with the flow and fit in. While going with the flow Rick quickly found out that he had a talent for singing and philosophy. Always the ambitious one, Rick was eventually admitted at age 22 into the school he had always dreamed of going to ever since moving to Hyperion City, Sanderson University. He studied music theory and and philosophy

On Zero Day, he had been on the bus home when all the would, be supers collapsed. Fortunately still near his school that had a clinic, he was rushed along with several other patients. When they all awoke and the chaos of a War of the Supers began, some of the first to die were Rick's parents, who had come to the hospital as soon as they had heard that he had collapsed only to be struck down by an out of control Super. Despair and rage filled him as he let loose a bone-chilling cry that knocked his parent's killer unconscious. Startled at first by his new power, he quickly snapped out of it and rushed to his parent's side. While kneeling over their lifeless bodies, he found that he could feel that they could still be saved. Thinking at first that he might be able to heal them, he opened the door to the great beyond and pulled his parent's souls back the mortal forms.

He made his parents leave the city while they could, though they pleaded for him to come with. Zero Day had changed Rick. With many Supers abusing their powers, he felt that to go with the flow would mean the death of many more people. He refused his parent's and stayed in the city. Given the power to control the boundary between life and death, and the power to make himself heard, he preached to all Supers to use their powers to the benefit of the common man.
He still goes to school at the University, and is very open about the fact that he is a Super with power over death. He also avidly continues his singing, and for a time he was singing in a theater in Boom Town, until he had a run-in with The Bianchi Undine and was thrown on her shit-list. Ever since, he spends a few nights a week singing for a club in Esnault Row called "Babe's and Jonny's Inn", though it is a little farther from where he lives in Newberg.
