==In Roleplaying== In the Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition adaptation of the Iron Kingdoms, trollkin were one of the default playable races - their pygmy troll cousins, sadly, would have have to wait until the release of "Borderlands & Beyond", the first splatbook. In this edition, trollbloods have the following statblock: ::Ability Score Increase: +1 Strength, +1 Constitution ::Size: Medium ::Speed: 30 feet ::Darkvision 60 foeet ::Born to Be Wild: You have Proficiency in the Survival skill. ::Ceaseless Stamina: You ignore the effects of Exhaustion until you have suffered 3 or more levels. You recover from 3 levels of Exhaustion whenever you complete a Long Rest. ::Regeneration: When spending a Hit Dice to recover Hit Points at the end of a Short Rest, you can reroll results of 1 or 2. However, the results of the reroll must be taken, even if it's another 1 or 2. ::Trollkin Toughness: You have Advantage on saving throws against Poison and Disease, and Resistance to Poison Damage. ::Subrace: Your subrace options are Woodland Trollkin (+1 Constitution and Woodland Survivalist - ignore nonmagical difficult terrain in forests, Advantage on Survival checks to hunt in forests), Northkin Trollkin (+1 Strength, Northkin Resilience - Resistance to Cold damage), or Albino Trollkin (+1 Charisma, Cantrip - you know 2 cantrips of your choice from Sorcerer spell list, which use Charisma as their spellcasting ability score).
