Come December 2021, and a [[Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II|sequel]] under Focus Home Interactive and Saber Interactive has been announced. Trailer shows Captain Titus returning but as a [[Primaris Lieutenant]] and saving a bunch of guardsmen from a horde of Tyranids. We can safely assume that whatever plans Lierop had for him have been scrapped. Judging by Titus' services studs, he is now 400 years old or so. Eagle eyed viewers can also see that he has a small inquisitorial medallion (not a rosette, obvs) on his armour, suggesting that he did them some kind of service after his arrest on Graia as a deal, or more likely the Inquisitor had no intention of keeping an obviously pure Marine and just went through the motions.
