=== Background ===


The gears of progress turn, clanking away at every moment of the day to insure the safety of the populace and every growing glory and survival of the Autocthonians.  Radial Composite Deviation was created by the nation of Sova during its more prosperous period to enforce the law as an upper echelon Regulator. A replacement for another Soulsteel who given their harsh and often brutal duties, including Gremlin Hunting, fell to the syndrome as well. Cruel and Brutal, but always fair, he became known and feared for his single minded devotion to the laws of the Tripartite. His efficiency and performance were excellent, and the harmonious blaze of clarity burned brightly in his eyes. Little emotion broke his masked face as he molded the clay flesh of the guilty into uneven and unrecognizable patterns.

However, everything was not as it should be. He was assigned to hunt down a group of fellow regulators who has gone gremlin, the internal political mechanisms of the clique-ish group forcing the Alchemical to do so off the books--against his rigid beliefs, but one does not question a superior, for they are likely far better informed. Into one of the most decayed and rusting blight zones of Sova he was forced, and in the great conflict that followed, he destroyed the rogue regulators, though he was nearly killed in the process.

Returning to Sova, he was too damaged to simply be repaired, and would have to account to his condition to superiors outside his group, and he was not ashamed to explain the exact circumstances despite the betrayal of the secrecy of his comrades. For his service and unwavering duty to the Oligatory, his soul gem was transplanted into the body of a Soulsteel Caste, position upgraded to Adjuticator. His first task was to destroy the regulators who had refused to report the deviation of their comrades and assigned the task to him.

During the War between Yugash, he served in both the front lines, and in hunting down traitors who sought to flee to the stronger nation. He became feared and whispered about by many of those involved in the war, for he knew not even the basic compassion found in most Alchemicals, but only the unwavering drum of duty. Poverty followed, and then too, he enforced the rules with that detached and ruthless manner.

Now the Locust Crusade is soon to begin, and the the influx of materials will could greatly improve Sova's position. They have struck up a weak treaty with Yugash, that they will me given new materials found in creation in exchange for supplying soldiers. Beyond that, Yugash may be tempted withhold resources given the antagonism between the two countries, and Radial has been sent as an ambassador of sorts. A powerful ally who is also there to make sure that Sova gains the boon it desperately needs.
