Once upon a time I was known by a mortal name, amongst mortal friends, at a simple dead end job I worked at to pay for College. I had roommates, but few friends, and a great mass of unpaid loans. Then... like a shining star falling from the sky came Zero Day. When I woke, I knew instantly I had changed forever, more than some, for I held the power to rise again and again from the grave, to resurrect those who I see as worthy, give life and youth or old age and death to those I please and manipulate my own age to whatever I wish at a given time.

I began to call myself Ebony, for my black hair flowed long, black waterfalls over tan skin and green ambitious eyes. Ambitious as they'd never been before, for then I felt nothing could stop me. The first thing I did was have a suit made, like something out of a comic book, black of course, for what else would a super being named Ebony wear? And... I knew I must use my powers for good.
