===Character Info=== '''Date of Birth:''' 30 December 29BF
'''Place of Birth:''' Saint-Raphaël, Bellechase MRC, Québec
'''Current Residence:''' Hexagon, Earth-Moon L5 Unremarkable childhood, moved to Montréal to attend college. Joined Canadian Armed Forces instead. Stayed on when CAF merged with United Nations Emergency Defense Force (UNEDF), one of a bunch of multinational military forces that got thrown together to tight the TITANS. Became a minor war hero/celebrity due to actually surviving several missions against the TITANS warbots, and actually succeeding at some of them. Eventually made Lieutenant Colonel due to staying alive when most of her superiors got killed. Given the nicknames Shrike (for one battle where one of her units put the 'heads' of warbots on pikes; erroneously reported as being on her orders to improve morale; after this incident it became a trademark of her units, to her chagrin) and La Louve (the She-Wolf, by French speaking press for her skill and ferocity) in the press. Became close friends with her executive officer, Major Rachel Baxley. On her last mission, was sent with her unit to defend a final desperate evacuation of Paris. Something went terribly wrong and her entire unit, and tens of thousands of civilian evacuees ended up dead. Became known as the Butcher of Paris. Persistent net rumors claim it was Aubrac's fault. Different versions exist - some examples include that she panicked and deserted her post, that when the TITANS warbots broke through she ordered her unit onto the evacuation shuttles ahead of civilians, or that she decided it was simpler to execute any evacuees with backups than try to protect them long enough to get on shuttles. No one really knows what happened - official files are sealed or have disappeared and no one has come forward with an official account. Aubrac was believed dead until Direct Action found a previously unknown backup of her ego in cold storage. They revived her as a special project - her skills as a soldier were a valuable commodity, her reputation as a war criminal gave them leeway to do whatever they wished with her. DA edited her memories and put in place behavioral blocks to make it less likely she would go against their orders. They used for extremely high risk missions, though not often. Aubrac suffers from sound → color synaesthesia due to the aftereffects of a TITAN nanovirus. She is reserved and cold to those around her, giving the impression of someone who's only interest is in getting her job done. This is largely due to the fact that nearly everyone she ever knew - family, friends, etc - died during the Fall. The only connection remaining from her old life is the father of Rachel Baxley, a wealthy former executive with Solaris who blames her for the death of his daughter, and the ruining of his daughter's reputation due to the Paris Incident.
