== Background == Wukari is a scion of House Cynis, born in the household of Cynis Falen; as a child, his honeyed voice and uncommon, feminine beauty made him an object of some expectation. He ended up befriending the servants of the household, particularly of the womens' quarters, to escape some of that pressure. The crossdressing started as much a game as anything, but soon enough he realized that he was really ''good'' at it, and started intentionally picking up more traditionally feminine tricks of interaction and garb. By the time he reached his mid-teen years, between the bouts of intense training made of any potential Dragon-Blooded, he'd already used servant disguises to halfheartedly investigate big swaths of the House on his own, just to find out what secrets he could. Then Cynis Falen caught him. She recognized that he had quite a skill for what he could do, particularly after he talked the guard enforcing his house arrest into giving him the key and going inside instead. Despite being a horrible liar, he seemed like a natural-born troublemaker... and with the chances of him Exalting as a Dragon-Blooded at all quickly slipping away, keeping him underfoot seemed like a recipe for disaster. So, he got stuck with a group negotiating with Guild representatives, ostensibly as the first step in a practical education for a mortal. What precisely no one had expected to happen was for Wukari to not only befriend one of the representative's personal servants, but to imitate her almost exactly too. The first night, the two went back to the representative's quarters together... and as a few minutes of conversation stretched into hours, the Guild slavemaster found himself converted and befriended, so grateful for someone finally understanding him that he simply didn't care he'd been tricked at first. And from there the words spread from mouth to mouth across his whole ship... In the wee hours of the morning, sobbing, he released his slaves and immediately set back for home, he and his entire crew having sworn to do everything they could to halt the spread of slavery. Even without knowing about the caste mark that burned on Wukari's brow until well after dawn, while she slipped away from the docks and found somewhere to hide until it faded, Cynis Falen was of mixed feelings about the situation, to put it lightly. One the one hand, it disrupted negotiations quite a bit... on the other, it have her a huge bit of ammunition with the Guild. For the moment, Wukari has been half-covertly sent out so that he isn't a wild factor in what she plans next. His still has access to and a little pull with the House, though Falen has kept most of the stories of what happened from becoming more than mild rumors. [[Category:Campaign:Ami's game]]
