===Respawn Entertainment=== Most notable for the Titanfall series, an FPS series which lets players fight on foot or in giant robots (some of which would inspire [[Lancer]] of all things) and includes EA's big moneymaking battle royale tangentially related to the setting, Apex Legends. While the first Titanfall was...unremarkable as a multiplayer-only FPS with the ability to pilot giant mecha, the sequel was a full improvement on almost every level with, among other things, a single-player campaign that proved to be [[Awesome]]. While there were talks of a third game with a potential hook in 2, those dreams were quite utterly dashed by some really fucked-up people who sabotaged the multiplayer servers for both games so thoroughly that they were forced to shut everything down - The first game is now nigh-unplayable with the second only slightly more so with its single-player campaign. After that, they were assigned to work on Star Wars: Jedi: Fallen Order, a single-player offline action-adventure game that's only loosely tied to the wider setting, all words that would the C-suite at EA retching and heaving as they clung to their microtransactions. Shockingly, the game actually sold quite well despite the corporate expectations. Their next game would be Jedi Survivor, which was a sequel but was horribly sabotaged by nothing more than corporate mandates for DRM so intrusive and detrimental to the game's performance that it makes piracy a more appealing alternative. While they're not quite dead yet, only a blind and deaf fool wouldn't notice the vultures circling around it.
