As you can tell, originality is not among the Imperium's many tal{{BLAM}} {{BLAM|Heresy!}}. To be fair Games Workshop is not the only company to ripoff the Mammoth. As the M850 from Halo Wars did so first. Before the series went to shit under 343i. Speaking of which, the Astraeus also rips off the M850 as well as the [[Sicaran Battle Tank]].  That's right people, the Omnissiah ripped off three separate designs with one vehic{{BLAM}}{{BLAM|How dare you insult the Omnissiah!}}
* The most blatant: orks, eldar, and Votann, from Tolkien, in turn ripping off Nordic myth.
* Tyranids, from Alien and Starship Troopers (so are Cadians too)
* Necrons, from Terminator.
* AdMech, from A Canticle for Leibowitz, Jawas, and the Bene Tleilax.
* The Imperium, fusing the Roman Empire + Christianity + Thatcher's Britain. More blatant even in Astartes' Chapters.
* Tau, from Gundam and Macross
* The [[Adeptus Arbites]] was heavily "inspired" by Judge Dredd and Robocop.
* The [[Aurox Armoured Transport]] and its Carnodon variant bear an uncanny resemblance to the [[Rhino]] and [[Predator]] respectively. <s>Which makes sense, given it’s essentially a Rhino modified for [[Solar Auxilia]] anyways</s>.
*Rather ironically, EA  'borrowed' ''back'' some of WH40K's tank designs for [https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-04-12-ea-accused-of-copying-warhammer-40k-tanks-for-command-and-conquer-tiberium-alliances Tiberium Alliances.] Which I have to say is pretty fair since both are scum-sucking corporate beings who defile everything good they own.
